Jewson Building Better Communities Alas we didn’t get through to the next round of the Jewson Building Better Communities competition. There were thousands of entries but I feel our project was a little unique for the criteria. Donation From Maison De La Rose

Thanks to Abi Mason (Quarter Finalist in Miss Pin Up UK) of Maison De La Rose Burlesque Dancers for a massive £350 donation. This will go towards the purchase of a outside shower and toilet facility for the bus.

Apart from removing items to be sold, scrapped or reused, she is ready for her refit when funds are available.

Welcome to The Bus Shelter IOW. The Bus Shelter is a charitable organisation that will be converting a Volvo Olympian double decker bus to temporary accommodation for the homeless on the Isle of Wight. They will receive shelter, warmth, food, clothing and services to enable them to regain their dignity and reintegrate into society. For us, providing food and bed for a night is not enough as this doesn’t solve a homeless persons problems long
